We now have the engine specs of the all-new Toyota Innova--at least for Indonesia

Toyota Indonesia launched the all-new Toyota Innova yesterday, and though we've seen enough of the exterior and interior to know what the car looks like even before the vehicle's public debut, the Japanese carmaker remained mum on what engine or engines the popular MPV will get.

Well, we finally have those details, which were revealed at the launch, and much like its predecessor, the all-new Toyota Innova will be offered with a choice of either a diesel or gasoline engine--at least for the Indonesian market.

The 2.4-liter GD diesel engine will reportedly put out 147hp and either 342Nm of torque for the five-speed manual transmission-equipped variants or 360Nm for those with the six-speed automatic. The 2.0-liter VVT-i gasoline-fed mill though will produce 137hp and 183Nm of torque.

Yesterday's launch also revealed the all-new Toyota Innova's dimensions and its length, width, height and wheelbase measure 4735mm, 1830mm, 1795mm, and 2750mm, respectively.

In comparison, the outgoing model has the following dimensions: 4585mm, 1775mm, 1760mm, and 2750mm, respectively, which means the next-generation model is much larger than its predecessor.
