I knew it!

The Lithuanian basketball team in the 2008 Summer Olympics is keeping their cards close to their chest since Team USA's scout, Tony Ronzone, was wondering why Lithuania hardly used 2 of their best players, Ramunas Siskauskas and Linas Kleiza, and why they didn't field Darius Lavrinovic, one of their more versatile big men.

Like I said, Lithuania could be playing it smart in a ball game that has no bearing for them. By showing Team USA only a fraction of their skill, they might lead The Redeem Team into thinking that, since they beat them in the exhibition game, they could go down just as easily in the Olympics itself. And when that happens, they just might give The Redeem Team a drubbing they never expected, much like what happened to them in Japan at the 2006 FIBA World Championship against Greece.

There's a fine line between confidence and overconfidence. And that's a line The Redeem Team can't afford to cross if they really do want to become The Dream Team again.
